If you focus yourself, you can accomplish much today.  Obstacles and snags will be present, but it will worthwhile to pay attention to details and avoid any puffery that presents itself.  Stick to the facts, and complete everything before the Moon turns void (v/c) at 8:56 PM CDT.

Mercury Trine Saturn favors progress if you are a Fire or Air sign.  Earth / Water do better with this aspect in general, but Fire / Air have the advantage today.  Mercury quincunx Jupiter says puffery (“Salesmanship,” BS, etc.) is present; avoid it.  Venus opposite North Node (and conjunct South Node) tempts us to “take the easy way out.”  Do not do that.

Thursday March 24th

Mercury trines Mars today, and you should accomplish all you can prior to Moon becoming void of course after its opposition to Uranus at 3:56 PM CDT.  The aspect (the opposition) can bring some very smart ideas, but you need to wait until you have more information, some time Friday afternoon (tomorrow), before you attempt to put those into action.  Take this “time off” to do as much research as you can and lay the foundation without making any major commitments to move forward.

Mercury aspects pepper the day, and we find that transportation and communication come to the forefront.  Mercury Trine Mars brings spirited words, but violence can be avoided (and progress made) if you make the necessary attempt.

Mercury Quadrinovile Jupiter tells us that we can have an important insight or learn a new skill to stop similar problems in the future.  Saturn and Juno aspect late, also, and this tells us that we should take a hard look at who we should (or should not) trust.

Chiron conjoins Ceres, and issues of our prosperity as it relates to health and healthcare, education, or both come to the forefront.  Chances are good that money is an issue, or soon will be.

Pallas is quincunx North Node, so put any action on “bright ideas” on hold until later, maybe Saturday.

Some of you have been feeling the upcoming Saturn Retrograde station (tomorrow) all week.  This tends to be true if you are heavily invested in a corporate setting or are involved with the financial services industry.  Do not be surprised if you see a minor shakeup this week.

By itself, the New Moon today is interesting.  This NM marks the start of the Chinese New Year, and we have a list of New Moons in 2016 here.  The Moon turns v/c for the remainder of the day, and this is a good day for a holiday.

We have a number of interesting aspects today, including higher order aspects.  But what stands out are the sheer number of aspects in play.  Next, we interpret select aspects, and after that a list of the aspects (regular and higher order) perfecting today.

Beyond the NM today, enough by itself, Mercury Trine North Node catches our eyes.  It speaks to travel and communications, conversations and trips, done to deal with Karmic issues such as dealing with old wounds or taking on new challenges needed to grow into the next stage, whatever that may be.  Venus Sextile Chiron confirms this but focuses the issues more into health, education, and mentor relationships.  Mercury Novile Saturn tells us that not only is the “Devil In the Details” but so also is a possible new insight that leads to a special skill in dealing with those details.  Jupiter TriSeptile Uranus has been applying for at least a few days (if not weeks), and it marks a collective turning point for the planet in terms of working through karmic issues, helping those less fortunate than ourselves, and addressing environmental issues.

Today is at least as complex and active as yesterday if not more so.  Venus Square Uranus follows on the heels of yesterday’s Venus / Pluto conjunction, and this may be a sexually intense weekend for those who choose a “getaway” at this time.  (Venus Square Uranus is associated with “kinky” or untraditional sex.)  Mercury Trine Jupiter enhances the continuation or revision of any work done by creatives yesterday.  With Sun Sextile Uranus and Sun BiQuintile North Node, insights abound for those with eyes to see them and ears to hear them.  Venus is also septile Neptune, and doing something for someone less fortunate than yourself is a good idea.
