Sun squares Pluto and you will either collapse from the energy expended yesterday or you will become even more determined to fight the fight and get things done. At least to some degree, the choice is up to you. Moon is very old, and will favor you if you choose to clear out the grime that has been holding you back.

Again: (1) do not start anything new but (2) you can get a “deal” today since buyers are favored over purchasers.  Just make certain it is something you need and will actually use lest it remain unopened in some corner waiting to be disposed of later, maybe when Mercury is retrograde.

Mercury Sesquiquadrate Saturn tells us that you can, and should, pay attention to details.  In your effort to clear and clean out, organize as you go.  Be careful not to misplace something that goes out in the trash.  Do everything meticulously today, step by step.

Outer planet aspects are very busy again today, and you can learn something especially useful and important in the future as Jupiter forms a quadrinovile to Pallas.

Thursday March 24th

Mercury trines Mars today, and you should accomplish all you can prior to Moon becoming void of course after its opposition to Uranus at 3:56 PM CDT.  The aspect (the opposition) can bring some very smart ideas, but you need to wait until you have more information, some time Friday afternoon (tomorrow), before you attempt to put those into action.  Take this “time off” to do as much research as you can and lay the foundation without making any major commitments to move forward.

Mercury aspects pepper the day, and we find that transportation and communication come to the forefront.  Mercury Trine Mars brings spirited words, but violence can be avoided (and progress made) if you make the necessary attempt.

Mercury Quadrinovile Jupiter tells us that we can have an important insight or learn a new skill to stop similar problems in the future.  Saturn and Juno aspect late, also, and this tells us that we should take a hard look at who we should (or should not) trust.

Chiron conjoins Ceres, and issues of our prosperity as it relates to health and healthcare, education, or both come to the forefront.  Chances are good that money is an issue, or soon will be.

Pallas is quincunx North Node, so put any action on “bright ideas” on hold until later, maybe Saturday.

Some of you have been feeling the upcoming Saturn Retrograde station (tomorrow) all week.  This tends to be true if you are heavily invested in a corporate setting or are involved with the financial services industry.  Do not be surprised if you see a minor shakeup this week.

A relatively benevolent Moon v/c begins after midnight (Moon Trine Sun) and ends near 4 AM CDT with the entry of the Moon into Leo.  The moon is more quiet today than yesterday, with quincunx aspects to Venus (afternoon) and Neptune (evening).  You may encounter a few glitches, but for most people they will be forgetten in a day or two and certainly by next week.

Outer planet aspects are far more busy (yesterday was relatively quiet with a Ceres / Uranus aspect bring a surprise regarding our prosperity (“The Visa is maxed out? Again?)).

Mars sesquiquadrate Uranus brings us some sense of urgency (possibly anger) to “get things done.”  Chiron opposite North Node (“Rahu” to some) means it is conjunct the South Node (“Ketu”) and, therefore, we have a temptation to “take the easy way out” or “cut corners” regarding some issue involving healthcare, education, or both.  (Don’t do it!)

Pallas does BiQuintile Hygeia, and we CAN have a brilliant insight into how to solve problems today.  Just focus your efforts, do not get derailed, do not cut corners, and do the work necessary.

Tomorrow brings the Vernal Equinox for most of the United States (except the East Coast that experiences a half hour past midnight EDT on March 20th and UK / EU which experiences it in the early morning hours on March 20th).  Things will change.

We have written extensively about this day elsewhere concerning the amazing compendium of patterns that are present and just how important we believe March 14th (and March 15th) are as a turning point for many people.

We will not duplicate our analysis of patterns here.  But, today is noteworthy for both (1) Venus Square Mars and (2) Mercury Square Saturn.  Venus square Mars days CAN be GREAT days for romance.  But, sometimes lovers fight on these days.  Sometimes both things are true!  If “it” is not about romance in your life, then you are in a position to scrutinize “how you get things done,” particularly in the arts and in spiritual matters.

Mercury Square Saturn is all about paying attention to details, especially in matters of transportation and communication.  It can also be about searching for, and rectifying, bookkeeping and accounting errors.  Do not be sloppy today.  Cross every “t” and dot every “i.”

Again: you will want to check the analysis of patterns for today.

We would like to say that today is quiet after the shakeup of yesterday’s powerful New Moon, but that is only true by comparison.  Today has Mars Trine Chiron, and issues involving health, healthcare, education, and mentors surface (if they did not yesterday) or are exacerbated.  A Pisces Moon just will not let us ignore the less fortunate, unless we do so at our own peril.  Do a good deed today.

Astrologically, this is a busy Friday, but what stands out are (1) Mars quincunx Uranus (11:31 AM CST; 12:31 PM EST / 9:31 PST); and (2) Venus conjunct Pluto (7:14 PM CST).  This day can be characterized by mis-steps and accidents.  We will tend to become angry, and this can be difficult to control.  Give yourself extra lead time and padding in everything that happens today, and know that your expectations will almost certainly be violated.  Put it all behind you be evening.  This is a good night for sex and love, together, if you are in an existing romantic relationship.  If not, you might have a spectacular date tonight.  If none of that applies, work on either physical fitness or financial fitness this evening.  If you are home alone, and not willing to take a break, then knock out those taxes ahead of the due date this year.

A higher order BiQuintile, Sun to Jupiter, can provide powerful insights for creatives.  If your work as a creative has a disturbing or difficult aspect to it (such as writing a murder mystery), then this may be an excellent night to make progress or even complete the work.  (If you have Aquarius / Virgo in your natal chart, or Leo / Pisces, then you will benefit most.)

Things become interesting again on Monday, and we become busy again with the conjunction of Mars and Venus (two planets critical to “getting things done” in the more ordinary sense).  Tuesday we have perfection of Jupiter opposite Chiron.  You have been feeling this for a few weeks already, and it brings health and healing or teaching and education (or both) kinds of issues “to a head.”

If you live in the United States (or North America), use Monday morning for clearing up routine matters and organizing.  Monday afternoon, better yet early Monday evening, launch important matters and “get things done” that are important.  “Things” become a bit dicey on Tuesday, so you will want to accomplish what you can during this window on Monday.

Earth signs had Monday.  Air signs had Wednesday.  Water signs have today.  Moon is in Pisces and opposes Venus, Jupiter, and Mars (in that order).  This might feel, at times, a little rough to water signs, but this is the kind of roughness that helps you make decisions, act on them, and get things done.  For the rest of us, the watery Piscean Moon makes this Saturday best used as a playday.  And, it can be just that.  (Avoid using it as a workday, if you can, unless you are a poet or musician or some similar kind of artist.)

Do note that this day is sandwiched between Friday (yesterday) and Sunday (tomorrow), and that both of those days have multiple major aspects.  You may feel some pressure from those (especially if you have health issues or academic assignments due).

…but you should be careful regarding what you find.  You might find a surprise, something this is not quite what you expected.  Mars Quincunx Uranus tells of powerful unexpected events on this day.  Still, most of us will not be able to resist pushing the envelope even though Mars Opposite Chiron tells us that we probably should do just that: resist the temptation to overdo it.  If you must push so hard, maybe it should be in the area of a sexual experience with a regular partner, or at least that is what Venus Trine Pluto suggests.
