 2016-06 W27: Forecasts for Week 27 of 2016 (and 2016-07, July)

June 2016 (Mars Out)

July 2016 (Mars Out)

Overview

The Sun moves more fully into Cancer, the Full Moon has perfected and the Moon is waning, Chiron stations retrograde on June 27th, and Mars moves direct this week on June 29th.  Chiron and Neptune (both in Pisces) are now both retrograde, and issues of healing move to the forefront.  Adults, especially older adults, might wrestle with summer colds.  Families with children will likely see injuries and need to be particularly careful around bodies of water.  (We are writing this in mid-June, just a few days past the death of a young boy by an alligator in Florida.  Do you recall that?  Safety first!)  Mars direct station tells us something overdue with Mars (war, violence, anger but also basic energy and atheletic performance) is facing us, and we hope this…

June 2016 (Mars Out)

Week 26 (W26)

A Full Moon, quickly followed by the Summer Solstice (entry of the Sun into the sign of Cancer as determined by the “tropical zodiac” used by western astrologers) marks our transition (officially) this week form Spring 2016 into Summer 2016.  This is the last full week of June, 2016, and July 2016 starts late next week.

Sunday June 19th

Some time zones feel Mars quincunx Uranus (Scorpio / Aries) on Saturday (yesterday), and we have mentioned it there.  That aspect perfects for PDT (Pacific) and MDT (Mountain) though quite late in the evening for both.  CDT (Central), EDT (Eastern), UK, and EU have the perfection after midnight (early on Sunday).  Everyone feels it on BOTH days.

Quincunx is an aspect that ties two planets together in signs that do not communicate by element (Fire, Earth, Air…

Week 25 (W25)

This is the last full week of Spring 2016.  For many, summer is already here.  This is a VERY busy week astrologically, and you will see many “changes.”

Sunday June 12th

The week starts off with a Bang! as Mars (Scorpio) trines Chiron (Pisces).  Whenever Chiron is involved we talk about education, health, and especially mentors.  But both planets are in water and Mars at home in Scorpio.  Today is all about making and breaking secrets.  Some secrets bubble to the surface and are exposed and new ones are created as certain people manufacture new “cover stories.”

That would be enough, but Venus (Gemini) sextiles Uranus (Aries) and surprises become the norm for the day.  This can be a very tough day for water signs (Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces) and maybe earth signs as well…

Gemini New Moon 2016-06-04 (Grand Cross, Grand Trine, and Rosetta)

We are writing this post a few hours in hindsight, a bit more than four hours after perfection.  We note that the annual Sun Square Jupiter aspect perfected earlier today.  (We will minimize duplication of the commentary on the earlier aspect.)

This is a dynamic New Moon (NM) and an important one, and much has been written by others because of the presence of a Grand Cross (GC).  This is a longer term GC which involves outer planets (notably Saturn, Neptune, and Jupiter), but the NM itself is (1) conjunct Venus and (2) forms the fourth leg of the GC.  Grand Crosses are relatively rare even when using asteroids (Chiron, Juno, Pallas, Vesta, and Ceres as well as others such as Hygeia and Astraea) or calculated points (North Node, South Node, Vertex, and so forth).  But this GC uses “real”…

June 2016 (Mars Out)

Week 24 (W24)

Sunday June 5th

By Noon the Moon is void and the remainder of the day is best spent as a day for rest and relaxation if that is possible.

Moon makes a quincunx to Pluto in the early morning hours (about 1 AM CDT) and another quincunx to Mars much later in the day (about 5:30 PM CDT).  We think this CAN be interpreted as a (VERY) loose Yod.  If that is true, then you will tend to face some kind of important decision today.

This is not a life and death decision, and you will likely have moved on to other things by the end of the summer, but it “seems important” right now.  This is particularly important if your birthday is today.  Other Gemini are likely to be affected also (favorably if their…
